Ladies, Take the Stage

Act One takes place in the Ladies Dressing room backstage. The characters lives are revealed through a combination of scenes and songs from the Broadway/Cabaret stage. We see these women as they really are...the women behind the faces. (We have written story lines for each character—actresses will not be playing themselves—although characters may be tailored after casting to better fit the actress.)

Act Two is the“show within the show” and the women perform existing/well-known songs—(not original material)—that represent great female roles from the Musical Theatre genre. The songe are linked together with a narration, and the songs will compare and contrast what we learned about their character in Act One. Act Two will be a sequin and boa extravaganza.
