Our 1972-1973 Season: Special Event
Based on the movie Lili , this dazzling musical theater classic tells the story of a young orphan girl who finds romance and adventure in the magical world of a traveling circus in Southern France. Roustabouts, puppets and circus acts fill the stage, while the story is told through the hauntingly touching music including the hit songs, “Love Makes The World Go Round” and “It Was Always You.” The showstopper comes when the circus troupe imagines that they are once again “The Grand Imperial Cirque de Paris.” Winner of the New York Critics'Circle Award for Best Musical and nominated for 7 Tonys. Fun for the whole family!
